On this day in early May, 2010, I enjoyed the sights and sounds of the 1st Annual Fair Trade Film Festival at the S. Lamar Alamo Drafthouse. I loved the collection of colors from 10,000 Villages, the free music, and the concentration of the weavers. 3 women (2nd photo) from St Austin (on the Drag) went to Ghana, Africa in 2008 on a quest to live with the coffee growers. They returned with a mission to promote Fair Trade Coffee and Chocolate across Austin and beyond.

At the NE corner of 360 and Bee Cave Rd in Austin, TX is a nursery called Pots and Plants Garden Center. It's known for the hundreds of Pink Flamingos on the hillside that beckon you to rubberneck. On this day in early April 2010, I caught the perfect mix of Flamingos, Bluebonnets and giant Easter Eggs. Enjoy and please share :)

I was walking down "The Drag" in Austin, TX and wandered into a store called Tylers. The display of Keep Austin Weird t-shirts generated so much eye-candy that I just 'had' to snap snap snap with my point-n-shoot (always on my hip).

The Legendary Hole in the Wall bar on the "Drag" in Austin, TX has a Men's Bathroom with a foremost Grafitti Wall. This is definitely got to be high-up in the "Keep Austin Weird" category....
